Waterloo is a fascinating battle for wargamers. As a 16 year old boy I spent 10 days on the actual battlefield sleeping in the barn of Hougomont by kind permission of the owners. Then I went home and played the battle with friends on a 15 square meter terrain on the floor with 7.000 converted Airfix soldiers. And I too had many good times with Charles Grant’s book with photos of Peter Gilder’s terrain.
