A nice way to end the year: the medal and certificate for the HMGS Legion of Honor that was (you may recall) originally awarded to me in January 2023 has just arrived!
You may spot that someone forgot to actually sign and date the certificate, but you can’t have everything…
So my dear Annie pinned the medal on me and posed me for this photo, so that I can prove to you all that I wasn’t just making it all up!
As the Germans would say, Guten Rutsch and have a great 2025!
