In this episode, I welcome to the show a man who has been kind enough to let me ramble away on his show several times: Jonathan J Reinhart, founder and lead host of the USA-based Wargaming Recon, the longest-running podcast in the hobby, listened to by gamers around the globe.
We find out how Jonathan found his way both into the hobby and also into podcasting, his background and life in New England and how his popular show has just grown and grown over the years.
Jonathan’s story is a fascinating one, detailing how he has risen to confront and indeed overcome his own mental health challenges and gone on to champion this cause with his work. It is also instructive – including to me – to hear how he has managed to delegate many of the tasks associated with his production to help him cope.
One of the nicest guys in the hobby on either side of the Atlantic, it’s been a real pleasure to have Jonathan on the show at last and I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing him another ten years of success on the airwaves and, increasingly, on screen too.
