Last post today, I promise!
On Sunday, at The Other Partizan, I decided to try out a new (heavy!) ‘steadicam’ device attached to my Fuji Finepix S1 camera, which takes fabulous quality video as well as stills. This is the resulting video, shot in four parts and stitched together in iMovie.
The link was unlisted and exclusive to patrons for the first 48 hours before I released it more widely.
There are a few wobbly moments, but overall, I’m pretty pleased with the result of this ‘whistle-stop’ tour of the show. It’s very much ‘warts and all’, and highlights certain aspects of wargames shows in general, as well as Partizan in particular, which I will no doubt address in forthcoming podcasts, blog posts and so on.
