I’m heading off to Italy tomorrow morning for ten days away from the Mac, social media, emails, accountants and anything whatsoever to do with business. It’s 18 months since I last had a break and the tyres have been wearing thin on the Hydemobile.
I plan to do lots of reading, writing and practising my watercolours, as well as taking in plenty of lungfuls of fresh, mountain air as I develop my thigh muscles on the climbs. (I’ll be in the Dolomites, scene of some of the most astonishing battles of WWI. See https://amzn.to/2IBWDv0 )
