Martinstaat 1744 On Amazon & Flick-through Video

It’s been a very busy few days since I produced the ‘Off the Cuff’ podcast for patrons because the paperback and hardback versions of Martinstaat 1744 have now been approved and are on sale on Amazon sites worldwide. This means I’ve been posting madly on Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram and elsewhere to drum up interest, whilst continually checking for errors and uploading replacement files where necessary.

The .co.uk link is here, which of course can lead you to your own local Amazon website.

I’m that combination of chuffed and exhausted that every author knows when a big project comes to fruition, tinged with the inevitable anxiety as you wait for the first reviews and ratings to come in. The online response so far seems to be very positive, and the people who have bought the PDF version seem to be liking it, but the world of online book sales is brutal and those ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ or ⭐️ ratings can make or break a book’s chances—so if you buy a copy and enjoy it, please rate and review it! 🙏

And then, of course… What next? the stand-alone Shot, Steel & Stone rulebook? (some of you could be helping out with that…) A book of scenarios? A fictitious mini-campaign? A little book about Rommel’s part in the invasion of France 1940? More about The Wars of the Faltenian Succession? Lots of people are telling me that they like, or even prefer audio content nowadays, so an audiobook of some kind? And of course, I’m about to contact a handful of potential guest for more Battlechats.

Anyway, if you haven’t seen the video already, I hope you enjoy this journey through the book whilst I spend the rest of Sunday having a think!

Henry

P.S. The PDF version is on sale on my Payhip site and WargameVault
