This is your last chance to make any purchases from the shop area of the Henry’s Wargaming site because as of midnight on December 31st, no download purchases will be available until further notice.
This is as a direct result of the new EU VAT regulations (VATMOSS) coming into force on January 1st 2015, which would force me to register for VAT despite running a business way below the UK VAT threshold, and impose draconian record-keeping requirements.
Thereafter, back issues of Battlegames will be available only from Wargame Vault.
Sadly, owing to these regulations, it will be impossible for me to continue raising money for Combat Stress via my Wars of the Faltenian Succession special issue if sold on WV – the fees charged by Wargame Vault simply wipe out any scope for a charitable contribution. I shall do my best to find an alternative solution for this, perhaps selling just this one item via direct email, which may avoid any VAT levy.
Thank you for your support. I am devastated to have to do this, as not only will it mean a significant dent in my income, but I have been proudly selling my own digital goods from my own websites one way or another since 1996, and Battlegames since 2006.
